The results are in! Thank you to everyone who came out to ride today and to our fabulous volunteers who made it all happen. We hope to see you at our next hunter pace, which will take place on October 16 at Red Rail Farm in Lincoln.
Thank you for your interest in the ONBH Fall Hunter Pace on July 17 at DCR Great Brook Farm State Park in Carlisle, Massachusetts. This will be the second hunter pace in the ONBH Hunter Pace Championship Series. The next hunter pace will be October 16. Ribbons will be awarded at each event, and trophies will be awarded to Champion and Runner-up for the series.
The Hunter Pace is open to all riders, including Western; hard hats and boots are required.
For those of you unfamiliar with hunter paces, teams of up to four riders will cover a course of 8 to 10 miles over varying terrain. Several natural jumps will be available, and there are easy paths around all jumps if you choose not to take them.
The three divisions are:
- Fences: For riders intending to jump all jumps
- Pick and Choose: For riders who choose to take select jumps
- Leisure: For riders who do not intend to jump and would like to take a more leisurely pace (please start before noon)
Ribbons for first through tenth place will be awarded based on closeness to a predetermined optimal time for each division. First place (blue ribbon) winners will also be awarded the opportunity to join us at no charge for one of our hunts.
Lunch and beverages will be provided.
All horse trailers must park at the Ski Barn located at 1018 Lowell Street, Carlisle. Please bring water for your horses.
