ONBH Hunter Pace, Oct. 11

Please join us for the second Hunter Pace in our 2026 series on October 11th at Red Rail Farm in Lincoln, Mass.

This is one of our favorite territories which starts with the fields of Mount Misery and then takes you over to the wooded trails of Fairhaven Bay and Wright Woods, which abut Walden Pond. For Thoreau, the area around Walden Pond and Fairhaven Hill was one of the ‘wild tracts’ of Concord, a solitary and remote place of water and woodlands. The Wright Woods retains much the same character today. The trail system includes many permanent cross-country fences (all of which can be gapped) and excellent footing. The Course typically runs 6-8 miles.

Hunter Pace teams of 2-4 riders will ride out between 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM. There will be three divisions:

        Jumpers/First Flight
        Pick & Choose
Leisure (Leisure please plan to go out no later than 12:00 PM)

All disciplines are welcome….Western Riders included…..HARD HATS & BOOTS are required. Fences are optional in all divisions.

Ribbons awarded will count toward our Hunter Pace Championship Series!
