The Old North Bridge Hounds (ONBH), established in 1969, is one of 11 hunt clubs in New England. ONBH is registered with the Masters of Foxhounds Association (MFHA), and is run in accordance with the standards and guidelines set forth by the MFHA
ONBH engages in drag hunting, not live foxhunting. Our hunt country, primarily in Middlesex County, Massachusetts, is a combination of suburban and rural territories. To avoid backyards and busy highways, it is necessary for our hounds to follow a scent laid on a prescribed course. A drag hunt also ensures participants a nice run every time the hounds go out.
